DRESS CODE FOR MALE STUDENTS

WARNING: 

• Students who are not in the required uniform will not be admitted into school. 
• No exceptions. 
• Not the first day of school. Not the last day of school.
• Parents will be required to take the student home to obtain the correct uniform before the student may attend class.
• Repeated uniform violations will result in disciplinary action and may jeopardize continued enrollment.

SHIRT - white, Polo or button down, short or long sleeve

PANTS - Dark blue dress pants or dark blue dress shorts

BELT - dark blue or black

SOCKS  - Dark Blue or black (solid color) 

OUTERWEAR - dark blue sweater or vest or jacket (solid color, no logos)

• Absolutely no hoodies

HAIR - Conservative (see below), no coloring, 

FACIAL HAIR - None. No Stubble or 5'o'clock shadow

WATCH - Analog watch permitted, Digital watch is not allowed

• Why aren't digital watches allowed? 

1. Because too many young people do not know how to read a clock face. 
2. Many digital watches also have "smart" features that are not permitted in the classroom. 

JEWELRY

• No facial or body piercings 
• Young men may wear a conservative ring. 
• Young men may wear a "Guy to Man" blue wrist band - available for free at Silver Lake Academy

MISC

• No tattoos or painting of the skin or fingernails
